car will not start...vid will be coming shortly....
it cranks and cranks and cranks....sounds maybe like it wants to start a bit, but all you hear is a **** load of noise from the around the flew plate and yea, i dont know, take a listen, any suggestions would help
vats= vehicle anti theift system for those who dont know.
i thought with that light on it wont even crank, mine wouldnt. but if its flashing maybe its different. kinda does sound like vats sence its cranking, do you know if you have fuel pressure? and i have no idea why the parking brake is stuck on, ive heard of them freezing on outside, but i dont think your garage is THAT cold.

i dont think its the vats/passkey, normally the car wont crank at all from my experiences with it even if its flashing. i dont see how it would go bad since the car hasnt been started in a while.

My Security light comes on alot... but I'm still able to start/drive my car.
1 time when I flashed my car it did make the security light come on. In which case the car would do exactly as dan described (it would act like its trying to start) So I just flashed it back and it was fine. Dont think thats the case here though.

Seems like you aren't getting fuel, did you turn the key in the on position for about 5 seconds, then turn it off, then repeat that step 7 times? this primes your fuel pump pushing fuel all the way up to your rails.
Also did you prime the engine? "won't have anything to do with the car not starting but still a good way to build up oil pressure, pull the fuel pump fuse and crank it, then put it back in" well, considering you've already been trying to start it forever I guess it wouldn't be a big deal, lol
