the reason the exhaust is typical longer in duration is its usually the worst flowing side of the head on the 3.4 camaro the intake is so restictive the exhaust flows better and as far as lift goes .4 to .5 inchs the more wot runs you do tthe closer i wouold get to .5 more crusing and traffic i would go closer to .4
but the lunati and the comp are equal on both sides which is prolly what ill just go ahead and do i just want to know whiich would be better for stock tune and heads with 1.6 rockers so basically which will give me more ponies
I think im looking for something a little bit more aggressive but just in case ill keep you in mind and how mcuh are you asking for it? also is it just the cam or the whole kit with lifter and timing set and all?
350 shipped for it..everthing too... cam, gasket set, lifters, timing chain/gears,springs,retainers,seals,ect...hell ill even throw my freshly cut valves if i can ind them...its a heavy box and i was asking 340 for the kit w/o shipping so its a good deal ur making out want it??
My FireBird K&N intake,Gutted cat, glass pack muffler.........Lots more to come......
Getting my exhaust soon :)Rumbler Exhaust w/ Hooker\'s Headers :)
yea bit wouldnt that make for a really rough idle? i dont want it to rough i just want it meaner sounding I think im leaning toward the lunati but what would its lft be with 1.6 rocker because tahts 1.5 and would that be ok with my stock comp. and heads....also bout how much will it hurt the ol mpg...and one mroe thing how much hp would i expect..
I have #2 in my car. Definitely meaner sounding - everyone tells me it sounds like a small block. It runs a touch rough in the open loop (a little rich) but leans out when closes. This is what it sounds like: http://media.putfile.com/Cammed-v6-revved
Note, I have several other mods too, but you can hear the cam at idle in the beginning.
