Are there any 1.6 rockers avaliable for the 3.4L engine? Would it be possible to use performance rockers meant for a 3400 car instead? Does anyone know if the rockers off of those 3400 heads are 1.6 or just 1.5. If they are 1.6's would they bolt onto my stock heads or no? Also could I use the stock pushrods on my 3.4L ore would I need to find something stronger?

These will work on your stock heads:

I believe the 3x00 rocker arms are totally different.

There are also some full roller rocker arms available from Crane but are a lot more expensive. They are machined aluminum and not stamped steel. You can get a set from www.ftpp.net but you also need a set of 10mm->3/8" rocker studs since those rockers are for 3/8" studs.

Yeah, you can get the Comp Cams 1.6 roller tip rockers, or you can use the older 3.1 FWD rockers which are 1.6 also. The 3x00 use a full roller and I don't believe it will fit the iron heads. I'm running the old 3.1 FWD rockers on mine.

the 3.4L rocker is a 1.5 right? is it worth it to tear up the top end to put on some higher lift rockers? have you guys noticed much power gains or other changes in the car when it is running?

I did heads and cam when I put the 1.6 rockers on so there was a big difference.

Yes, stock rockers are 1.5 and the stock cam is .390/.410 lift so if you just change to 1.6 rockers you'll get a bit more lift out of it, .416/.437 that's assuming your lifters/lobes are still in decent shape.

I'm using stock pushrods on mine with the Comp Cams 260H and 1.6 rockers which gives me .470 lift. I did upgrade to the CC springs/locks/retainers.
