mods?

so ive dont just about evrything to my 96 as far as exhaust/intake goes...what engine mods can i do w/out spending too much money? and maybe even get my car in the 14's at the strip... ideas?

maybe some different ratio rocker arms...but that's about it. Honestly, if your car is full bolt-on, all you need is practice and you'll get into the 14's without dropping a dime

zzperformance has 1.9 rockers and some LS6 valve springs...

you have an Aluminum driveshaft? gears/LSD?

i havnt done anything to the drivetrain, its all stock open diff, and whatever gears a 96 3.8 a4 have

3.42's or 3.73's and a locker of some kind. Aluminum driveshaft or at least 1 piece. Mild computer tune, rocker arms, electric water pump (free up some HP), lower thermo. check out some of the supplier websites and just go down the lists, that will give you the best ideas.

oh, didn't realize you lied when you were describing your car...having a "full exhaust" means you also have headers...which, you do not. I'd take a gander at 15.3-0 if you're lucky

I doubt those two mods will get you anything better than a 15.7...

Headers
High Flow Cat & S pipe
AL driveshaft
Gears and LSD
therm.
coils/wires if you want and then cam& valvetrain

Saying your car has something that it doesn't have qualifies as lying. As I said in my previous post, 15.3-0. A sure way to get 14's is nitrous, and plenty of it

no i didnt say my car had headers...all i said was ive done just about everything to the exhaust...and if i did lie it was unintentional.

Even if he hasnt, plenty of others have run 14s at the track without having headers or a cam.
