Waiting. Where's the pushrod v6 engine you want that's smaller than the one you have?

Lets see you do it, prove me wrong, in the end you will still get laughed at.

no point to doing a smaller pushrod engine. 3800s are proven reliable and virtually indestructible. there is a guy running 773rwhp on one. search.
\'97 Camaro M5 Y87 3.23 LSD, homebrew CAI, highfloCat, Flowmaster catback, Pacesetter headers, specstage3 clutch and aluminum flywheel, !egr, 2kW system.

Possible L67 bottom end w/ abbott heads and a turbo in the works... gotta do more homework

i just bought a 93 Camaro V6 3.4L for $400 , it runs well, it has a K&N Highflow air intake. i dont know what to mod, to have few horses on it. what pasrts need to be moded?

i was also thinking of just buying a 3800 engine from ebay. i seen one for $500. i was told the supercharger used on the REGAL GS wasnt going to fit on a camaros 3800 engine.

            Re: v6 upgrade?

You probably thought because there are v6's out there with ~250hp why not just swap that in.... but those are also completely different technologies, you can't even compare those double overhead cams to our pushrod engine not to mention you wouldn't be able to get it to work....

And you obviously don't know what you're talking about when you said 3.8's had small #'s compared to other v6's of the 90's and 2000's.....the main GM marketing campaign for the early 3.8 camaro's was that it had #'s equal to that of a then-current generation mustang GT.

i dont think theres a gt mustang in the 90s that has equal numbers as our 6's...specially not the newer body styles...and as for my v6 question i was basically wondering if there ARE any v6's of today that would work for our cars and a good engine and upgrade...

think again. The SN95 body style only had 215 hp...that, coupled with the increased weight, gave the auto a 16-second timeslip

k did a search a 93 gt ran a 16.1...big deal 1 mustang gt was slower then our 6's and plus that was the 1st year for that body style...i dont think our v6s were meant to outrun a gt mustang though

14-what? if it's higher than a 14.8, a Y87 with a great driver can hit those all night
