Buick 231 V6 4340 FORGED STROKER crank
3.625" Stroker cranks
The forged cranks have been a great sucess. There are some very fast cars now using the the stock stroke version with NO problems. Now we have a 3.625" STROKER version that will work with the forged rods we sell. We also have Diamond pistons for a complete rotating asembly. This crank is internal balance and requires the use of of an internal balance balancer and flexplate OR the stock units must be modified to internal balace specs.
Item Specification:
Application: Buick 231
Stroke: 3.625"
Rod Length: 5.960" or 6.00"
CAT 4340 crankshafts incorporate these features:
- Computer designed counterweight to reduce main bearing loads.
- CNC machined to provide superior tolerance and journals micro polished to 5 RMS.
- Generous 0.125" journal radii to disperse stress under high loads.
- Each crankshaft has been visually inspected, X-rayed, magnafluxed, and ultrasonic tested to ensure perfection.
- All cranks are heavier at counter weight for easier balancing with various applications.
- Journal surfaces are treated with plasma gas nitrite to HRC60 hardness for superior wear resistance.
