I am planning on putting a mild cam, rockers, springs, valves, and rods in my 2000 3800 Firebird in the distant future. Is it necessary to drop the engine to do these mods or is there enough room back there to do this? Thanks

Re: Cam and valvetrain installation question
These guys are right. You wont have to drop out your engine, but to make it easier you can take out your radiator to give you some room to work in there. This is what my mechanic buddy and I did to install mine.01\'Y87 Firebird:Gt1 cam,Vig.3000 stall
