Grand Am 3400 heads....

i've seen where it's possible to swap these heads onto a 3.4, and i believe i've seen that the ports are slightly larger, and that theyre aluminum. my motor has 200,000 miles on it and i wanna swap the heads because i believe theres a crack somewhere. would the pontiac heads yield much of a difference as far as power/economy?

yes they will give you more power, but you have to keep in mind here, its not just the heads you have to swap, you'll need the 3400 pistons and intakes. its not a direct swap lie you're thinking.

fuel rails too... ur basiacly only keepign the 3.4 block ... itd take awhile ... and expensive... imo to much work for not so much power... but yeah if u want i have a 3.4 block i can selll u so u can build that one and not have to wait forever to get it running again
