Hey guys I finaly got my AR stage 3 heads from UDLOSE. I wanted to clean them up some. I was wondering if dousing them with brake or parts cleaner would be ok if I cleaned it off good with some water. I was also thinking of rubbing a piece of light grit sand paper over gasket areas to clean those areas. If this isnt a good procedure for cleaning the heads let me know and also tell me how to do this so I dont mess something up. If anyone is wondering the heads only have 3k miles on them from his car and they look to be in great shape. Thanx guys!

be VERY careful with water it will rust the **** out of them if you do not 100% dry everythinng i would get some carb cleaner it evaps pretty quick and it will clean anything esp. the "valucraft" brand i think its autozones house brand2001 Camaro 3.8 A4

I just used break cleaner and a scotch pad on mine. Maybe hit it with a gasket scraper if it has any gasket residue on it. When you going to be installing them? I just finished installing my AR stage 3 heads and AR n/a cam and AR P&P intakes.
