Re: rod question
sweet that helps alot and another question my buddy said when your doing springs you have to raise the piston to the right height in order to install them right and he said that was on an Ls1 and i was reading some where else you can take them all off at the same time and not worry about it so my question is what is the right way to install springs on a 3.4?

Re: rod question
Unless you decked you block, are installing roller rockers, or are messing around with different height head gaskets, use stock length pushrods. Jegs or summit sell an air valve hold adapter for your air compressor. It allows you to fill the cylinder with air while you remove the valve springs. They are around 10 bucks. Also some folks stuff a nylon rope into the cylinder to keep the valve in place.69 Camaro 350 4spd, Full Hotchkis susp, Baer brakes, moser 12 bolt, Flowmaster

96 RS Hotchkis STB, subframe connectors, Hotchkis LCA and adj Panhard rod, SS camaro sway bars, Bilstein shocks, powerslot rotors, Borla exhaust, rksport headers, k@nFIPK
