It's going to be equally as difficult, with the exception being the weight and size of the motor. You need to swap the transmission as well, the 3.4's M5 transmission doesn't work with the 3.8L. New motor mounts, wiring harness etc.

man, if youre gonna go through the work of an engine swap, put an LT1 or and LS1 in that. you'll have to buy a new tranny anyway, why not make it a V8 and an M6?
