cam info needed

hey guys noob here with some questions. my car is completly stock. car has 100k miles and runs great. i was looking at some mods for this car and i came upon the cam section and was wondering what supporting mods would i need to run a cam in my car. and can ya list only parts that i really need. before i do the cam upgrade im bringing in the car for a full tune up and install a high flowing exhaust.

so far ive come up with this: cam, valve spring retainers,valve springs,rocker arms,and roller lifters. i dont want anything crazy just a mild cam with a nice lope sound to it.

btw: i read the sticky up there and do i really need all them supporting mods or can i do without some of those.

Thats a good starting list... but if your just going mild with a good sound, then why roller lifters and rocker arms? Save yourself some money if your not in it for the performance. Nomatter what prep, you'll always need something else. Just get started and take it as it comes. Just get the big stuff ordered in...

roller lifters are stock as are rocker arms.......

anyways you should have a good intake, and a good exhaust AT THE VERY VERY least. if you dont have that its s dumb upgrade. You are going to need a tune, and depening on what cam you go with you may need springs, retainers, etc. you wont need these with a mild cam.
