  • 36lb injector duty cycle

I currenty run a 125 wet shot on my car, But N/A I've noticed that my injector duty cycle at WOT is around 58% and thats shifting at 5800 rpms(A4). I have a VS cam, RK sport headers, 3" exhaust, no cat, L67 rods, 9:5.1 forged pistons, heads were milled .010" when rebuilt, light weight pushrods and walbro 255 . My wide band shows 12.6-12.8 N/A, and I run 12.0 and under on nitrous. Timing is around 25 deg. I would of thought my duty cycle would be much lower running the 36lbs N/A. Does this sound right or does my car like sucking up gas?

I 'm getting ready to put in a ported TB and upper/lower intakes, along with some mild ported heads milled .010" with 105 springs, steel retainers, SI valves and viton valve guides. Maybe some MLS .052 gaskets to up the compression somemore.

sounds about right to me for your mods. On our powerdyned car we get up to 70ish percent at times, however we still have not done a full WOT pull, just some quick 0-70 runs.

But I don't think there is anything wrong with 58% duty cycle for your car.

        Re: 36lb injector duty cycle

I was just thinking it would be alot lower for some reason, since they are 36lb injectors and the stock were 22lb. Thanks for the responses. Steve
