I've recently started having trouble starting my car. I'm in New Jersey, and it has been colder lately. Basically, these are my scenarios:
*Turn Key, car doesn't crank but battery turns on radio, fan, etc. "Security" light comes on dash and stays for a few minutes. The second it goes off, I turn the key and everything starts up fine.
**Turn key, car cranks for a second, stops for a split second, and starts cranking again (key was turned the entire time) and starts up.
***Turn key, car cranks for 5-7 seconds and starts up.
Any ideas, or is my car just getting old and tired?
Thanks all,
Dave
