Its great. I wasn't going to modify it at all, but I had to do something about the stock shifter so I put a hurst billet/plus on it. 100X better now. 5 pt harness goes in as soon as it gets here.
So now that the mod bug has hit, cat-back and some road race tires are next.
It sees the track all the time, just not the quarter mile!

my 85mm Vette MAF came in today and I also ran to zzperformance down the road and picked up the 5-3 connector for the MAF/IAT. Makes for no splicing to get the MAF to work on our cars. :)
Intakes I am going a different route, that actually has never been done in the USA. I bought some Holden v6 intake manifolds from a place down in australia. The stock holden intakes are a better design with longer runners and such.
Tim King is already running the holden lower intake and looks like a custom upper.

correct, but this is a try at both upper and lower as a direct swap for us fbody guys. Looking for a way for us NA peeps to gain more power out of intakes as ours are restrictive
painted the holden intakes today, just have to polish the upper cover yet now to complete the intakes. I set the cover on the top though to give you an idea how it looks so far
Here are the valve covers I did the other day (painted black, polished the runners with some elbow grease) and posted about in the appearance section:
Next up are the abbott stage 3 heads. They are going to be painted a silver/grey color
Looking good man. May I ask why you went with the .052 gaskets, instead of the .045? I mean, the more compression, the better for N/A and spray, right? ZZP has the .045s. And I have a feeling 36#'s may not be enough. Either that, or get a FMU. Is this a track only car, or is it driven often? Who's tuning it? With decent tires, I'm sure you'll hit 11's no problem. Hell, strip that thing down, and 10's may be possible (I dream big :D)
