Alright as some of you know I am working on using the holden intake manifolds on my car. I got in contact with a person in australia and was able to get the 95-97 Commodore VS repair manual mailed to me on a CD. The CD breaks it all done really nice for us to see what goes to where on the manifolds.
Now just so you know there are two different styles of holden intakes that fit on our block. The earlier version is the 95-97 VS version. Then there is the newer version from 98+ that is in ecotec commodores. The VS version does not have the hole for EGR and uses a oring gasket between the upper and lower intakes. The VS version also has a hump just inside the inlet of the upper manifold that restricts some flow. To combat this you can easily dremel it smooth so there is no hump. The newer style has EGR and also a different PCV groove between the intakes. Another difference is that the VS version is slightly shorter in height which is nice for us as it is a close fit under our cowl. The taller version if you can make it work would actually be better as the runner length is slightly longer.
