interesting, may I ask why you are trying to make a new rail?

Very cool. I'm thinking of making a custom set for a small block. I have a B&M 144 supercharger for my 87 Camaro that I want to fuel inject. I was going to use some aluminum stock and a buddy's milling machine and lathe for the actual rails and FPR mount and steel tubing to connect it all. How did you fab those up if you don't mind my asking? Great job by the way!

well first off i am using an aftermarket rail for equalized pressure to injectors and becuase the stock rail has a return. i have a progressive rate adjustable fuel pressure regulator and it makes the return line off that. also the upgraded 43.5 lb/hr injectors are bosch style not the motron ones so they are in turn shorter making new brackets a must anyways. i bought bullett fuel logs from holley and and injector bungs from msd. only problem is the injector sits below the large seat and you hae to notch the bunjgs. but you drill the logs and i tig welded on the bungs and now i have to tap the logs for AN fittings and make the brackets and they are finished.

you could have just bought 95-99 fuel rail and the height would have been fine and left the fuel pressure regulator. Then just splice your connectors. :)

Sounds like a lot of work, good luck with it

well i was mostly going for equalized pressure to each injector to establish a similar spray and flow pattern in each cylinder. but yea that probably would have been a good start.

what is your setup btw that you need the bigger injectors? Just trying to figure out the application and all.

Were you seeing some cylinders running leaner? Do you have hptuners? You can skew the fuel to individual cylinders thru hptuners if you were seeing a couple of them running lean

big turbo with every supporting mod. looking for over 400 wheel. i have dhp power tuners and widebands on each bank. only bottom end is stock on this car anymore. along with every drivetrain mod and chasis mod available other than torque arm relocator.

I know others that have dyno'd 500+ hp on stock crankshafts.
