Check this out! Got a 99 bird with 180,000 miles, the wife went to my daughters house and 30 minutes later when she tried to leave, it wouldn't start. The next day when I called a truck to go get it, it started and ran all the way to the house. I got on it kinda hard a block from the house and it stalled again. The next day it started and I drove it home. I've replace the fuel pump and the fuel pressure regulator.............now it runs like crap,black smoke coming from the exhaust and you have to keep the throttle pegged in order for it to stay running..............any Ideas?

black smoke signifies that you're running incredibly rich

It's in the engine controls O2, map, MAF. You need to have it scanned and see what codes are in the PCM.

p1514, airflow to TP sensor high is that a MAF problem?
