Has anyone actually dyno'd one of the V6's before and after to see what the real gain is from a tube manifold to the midlength pacesetter?

You would have no problems running a cam with the tube manifolds. When you have headers you will have a slight pick up in your upper RPMs.

if you have the money for a cam, you have the money for shorty/mid length headers

i just bought the gt2 cam, and orginally was gonna go with my stock tubular mannis. after some research and a little bit of scraping up money, i went ahead and bought some pacesetters. and it makes sense. basically its like a cam makes your engine "take a bigger breath" it its not able to "exhale" all that air then you just creating a bottleneck. And hell you can find a set of used pacesetters for around 150. might as well do it.
