Ok im doing an engine swap on my 96 3.8 camaro. i allready got the old engine out by dropping it out the bottom. i unplugged all of the plugins going to the motor from the car harness, question is, did i have to do this? it looked like a bunch of wires went up under the dash, and i didnt want to mess with that. so can i plug in all the sensors to the motor out of of the car and drop the damn thing in there and just plug in a few things under the dash?

just plug in whatever you took off of the old engine. You shouldn't have to mess with anything under the dash unless you went to a ls1 instead of your 3.8

there are a lot of plugins that we unplugged when we were lifting the body off of the subframe, im not sure if i'll be able to plug them all in while trying to set the body in the right place.

are theese wires acccesable? i think it would be easier to plug everthin to the motor, drop it in, and plug in a few wires up top.
