head over to ls1tech.com, there are some threads on this swap, and the differences bewtween the ls1 & ls2. Also refer to the tech database on the v8 swap.

An LS2 is basically designed off of a LS1. and I am sure it is pretty close to the same size and we know a LS1 will fit

You need to extend some of the sensor harness for the LS2. GM moved some the them around.
