ZZPerformance VS cam 206/216 115LS put it in without any tuning and it doesn't set off any codes, nice little lobe to it though. Good for small boost apps, loves the nitrous. I'll get a N/A dyno on it here soon and some nitrous #'s.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake

Re: Looking into cams.
this is for 3.8 apps right? is there any for 3.4?
Horsepower is how fast you hit the Minivan... Torque is how far you take the Minivan with you... :wavey:

Re: Looking into cams.
GT2 is usually the recommended stock tune, DD cam. That's what I have and love it :). GT1 is more of a streetable; IMO, the GT2 is totally streetable (again, I have it and DD before I spun a bearing); it may throw a code, but get it tuned and you'll fix that.
Not sure about the 3.4 though :(. Although, while I was looking for mine, I did come across a few for the 3.4, so they are out there.~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~

Re: Looking into cams.
If you are going to get a cam, trust me.. it will cost alot.. sure you may not have to pay $1,000 instantly.. but $200 here, $100 there, $30 there.. etc.. adds up VERY fast.. I would have been done with my cam/heads/intakes by now if I had good cash flow :D
So since you are spending all of that money, you might as well invest in HPTuners or a DHP. Hell I have a close to stock car, intake/exhaust, and my car drives WAY different from stock after tuning. You can gain a good 20hp or maybe more (depending on area and fuel used) just from a good tune.. Like I can always get 93 octane so I am going to advance my timing as much as possible because I'm staying N/A.
