Re: cam
FALSE! I was running stock tune and internals with my cam (GT2). There are a few stock-tune cams out there, just gotta look around. Of course, a tune will only make it better :)~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~

Re: cam
I wouldn't run a big cam without a scanner or something to flash the pcm, I ran my VS cam without any flashing software, but still scanned it for KR and fuel trims. The VS cam was a little bigger then stock though. I guess it depends on what cam your going with to determine if you need a tune. You could pick any cam and I'm sure someone else has used it and you could email them to see what needs to be done.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake

Smoke: I hear what you're saying. Just, to me it seemed like he was asking if it was possible to run a cam without getting a tune, in which case, my answer would be more appropriate.~97 3.8L V6 Camaro~
