  • installing heads?

what bolts am i soposed to use the moly lube on? And is it necessary to use a sealant for the bolts going into coolant if im using stock head bolts? I see the bolts have some kind of blue coating on them.

and when installing lifters, do you just drop them in? is it that easy? Or do i need to do something more?

The blue stuff on the thread is a thread locker. Shouldn't have to add anything else.

I have a question, which manual are you using? Haynes? Chiltons? Mitchell? Combination? Seems like a **** to get the heads off.

i didnt use any guide at all, but i did stay at a holiday inn last night

but really i didnt use a manual, just looked up the torque specs i needed on line.
it's not really that hard, just takes a little while to do

Most FACTORY specs say OIL not moly on your bolts. Wet head bolts don't get anything but sealent.
