3.4 to 3.8 swap?

Ok so i have a 94' 3.4l v6 and i was wondering, how hard would it be to swap in the 3.8l from the later 90's? its just an idea seeing as how i may need a rebuild on mine soon anyway.

unbolt k member and the 3.4 drop them out then get the 3.8 and its k member and bolt it in hook up the computer run all the lines and your good but try the search next time;)

So everything will bolt right on? I will have no problems at all. It is just that easy? I find that hard to swallow. Can anyone else comfirm. I just want to put in a new motor into this 94 firebird for a daily driver nothing special.

no it not that easy if ur going to go threw the trouble u should put a v8 in there

and if ur anywhere they require smog check u will never pass with the 3.8 or 5.7

yeah, it would probably be the same or only slightly more work to drop an LT1 into there

wasnt someone saying on the boards that you can do a top end swap with the 3.4 to the 3.8? I could be wrong, but Im pretty sure I read it on here somewhere...

yeah, I had the lil soldier boy, then the pedo bear till I really thought about it (pissed me off) so I put the lil troll baby flipping everyone off. It'll go back once I get this motor out of the car.. my HELP is pissing me off for not helping... I have EVERYTHING out of the engine bay, excluding the engine and trans...
I would un bolt the whole damn thing and let it drop if I didnt want to spend the week in the hospital.

(gag) Its the Grand Am/Impala/Aztec/monte carlo 3.4L v6 engine. The top end flows much better.

i vote just find a newer Firebird/Camaro that has a 3.8 or swap for a V8.
