  • Where to start

    Re: Where to start

there is ALOT that can be done.

you going to want to start with getting some bigger piping on your exhaust. 2.5 is great for our cars. while your under the car put headers and a high flow cat on there also.

you can go with a full k&n intake which will open you intake better.

if you still want to go on from there you can go with suspension, better tires, weight reduction, nitrous, super or tubro charged etc.

but that is a good place to start

      Re: Where to start

What kristen said is great. Intake/Exhaust is the best place to start, and it'll give some noticeable gains, of course you could always go the appearance route too....

And i don't think this thread really falls under advanced tech....lol

        Re: Where to start

Intake and cat-back exhaust are usually good staring points.

          Re: Where to start

Yea i didnt really know where to start this thread

I was thinking about goin with the FTRA kit along with a new lid for my intake, and a throttle body stack insert to finish it off

And then for the exhaust start with the CIA headers and y, Into a TSP 3" cat-back, no cat

              Re: Where to start

I have a friend who drives a sc v6 mustang

Mer and him have been workin on a list of things i should be doin, but i dont think i am gonna go sc or tc just yet, thinkin about nitrous

But right now i am curently tryin to fix the problems with my cart now, it currently runs a 16.2 consistently, and idk what is wrong with it, i have a small exhaust leak on both the header to y pipe connection and the egr
