I'm new to the forum, and v6 Camaros. Just bought a '95 convertible with a bad motor. What engines from the GM "family" will interchange with the '95 3800 Series II? Will the Buick or Pontiac FWD engine swap into the RWD Camaro?

Re: 3.8 motor interchange
Gentlemen of the forum; thanks for the welcome and replys. I have not pulled the heads, but could get lucky and it only be a head gasket. I drained close to 3 quarts of coolant from the oil pan, so it may be more serious than a head gasket. I have it in my shop and am going to pull the heads and see what's inside. I'll keep you posted.

Rwd to Fwd is alot of work ,too much
It would be better to either get another 3800 series 2 or an lsx engine
To the OP - Any Series II block will work, you just need to swap your accessories, intakes, and exhaust manifolds.www.fullthrottlev6.com
www.chitownracing.com

Re: 3.8 motor interchange
yes all 3800 II l36 engines are the same, gm even uses the same part no to service them. as long as you dont get a supercharged replacement enigne it is easy.
on to more important things, you gotta a 95 camaro convertible with a 3800 II. thats gotta be a helluva rare car.96 camaro auto base model
slp cai
pacesetter headers
flowmaster catback
35th anniversary ss wheels
richmond 3.73
98+ ss spoiler
hypertech 160 degree thermostat
transgo shift kit
