    Re: another rocker question

im sorry to do this but... wow blizzard, that pic in your signature looks awesome. thumbs up on that.

anyways, back to the rockers... i would just sport the 1.85's save a few bucks and put some gas in my tank.

meaty, when you installed the new ratio rockers, did it make your car sound cammed?

ok since we are on springs....comp cams springs vs crane cams springs? i am looking at them on ftpp.net and the comp cams come in 105# or 130# for $131...crane cam springs come in 112# for $119....and something about a dual spring set up on the crane cam springs....although the photo of the comp cams springs looks like a dual spring set up also...so is a dual more desirable over a single spring? and would the 112#ers be overkill or not?

        Re: another rocker question

I dunno about dual springs, I got comp cam 105's where people allegedly came across a bad bunch and in a few instances they cracked.. dropped valves are bad. But that is suppose to have passed and been done with. The 105 comp cam springs are not dual coils.

no, they do nothing for sound, think of it as a sleeper mod

go with the comp 105s, and you cant really go by the pictures, they use the same generic picture for everything.

i know a picture doesnt mean much but you never know.....and i guess i just want to know why the comp 105's instead of crane 112's for cheaper? is comp just a more reliable product than crane or what??

                Re: another rocker question

112 pound springs are too much for a stock timing chain

i say go with the 1.85 rockers and the 105 springs
