Well, my exhaust isn't restrictive ennough for it to make a big difference, IMO. Here's my muffler: http://www.cherrybomb.com/products/vortex


Look at the cut-out of the muffler; there's really not much restriction to it at all. IMO, the biggest restriction in my exhaust is the Pacesetters :P.


Now that I start to think of it, there was a group of kids who kept starin at my car the other day. They kept watching as I got in and drove away; I wonder if they put somethin in the tail-pipe and it finally blew out. Although, I changed my tails out not too long ago too and think I would have noticed something stuck in my tips.

lol. I'm gonna pop the hood tomorrow to see if maybe someone put 2 more cylinders under there :P. I'm putting it on ramps/jackstands tomorrow hopefully and checking it out. I'll keep you guys updated

just stick it up on stands and take a look around. better yet, crawl under there when the car is on and feel/listen for air around the exhaust pipes, just dont burn yourself. haha.

That's a good question. Hence me wanting to replace the whole muffler instead of just repairing it. If it broke once, it'll probably break again.

That's like a 5 minute fix if you have a welder. 3 minutes to get the welder out, 1 minute to straighten and 1 minute to weld it. done.

Don't have a cut-out. I'm gonna keep it the way it is for a while, until I get some spare cash for a new muffler. I might just weld it up, but if it broke once, it's bound to break again....

I don't have much of a welder, but you're right. Like I said above, I might weld it up, or I might just replace it.
