    Re: Sudden power/increase exhaust volume

You should really fix it asap because that crack will only get bigger and eventually a welder might not be able to fix it.

I've got a crappy welder I just bought for like 120 bucks.. lil cheap mig flux core crap but if you're patient with em crappy welders can be very valuable. This thing is driving me nuts though.. i'm used to a big *** 2 phase gas mig that has it's own wheels and a spot to carry the gas tank.

Ya, but I don't think I'll have the time or money to do it soon. I have a tiny mig too, and it sux ballls compared to the 2 phase my dad has at his work. But, it's what I've learned on and about the only thing I know to use right now :P

I started with those. But C's are way better. Especially with the little crap welder. Try that out, I didn't burn through nearly as much and it looked cleaner. I was also able to easily fill in a gap too. I hate having just a high and low switch for temp. It'll get'r dun though!

I've tried JB weld on the exhaust before, doesn't work, it heats up then starts to crack and fall off.

That's my plan :) I'm taking it to my buddy's shop sometime this week and he's going to look at it and weld it up if possible. If it's grown and is beyond welding, then he'll get me a new muffler. I'll talk to him about a cut-out in place of the cat
