Hey sorry dont mean to hijack the thread but I didnt think 1 question needed a whole new topic. Im helping my buddy do a gt2 cam install on his camaro with an a4. We havent finished it yet but we dont have access to a tuning software program for a few weeks. Only question is will the car idle and drive with the auto. Will it be a complete dog even over the stock tune? or will there be some evidence f improvement?
Thanks guys

guys are these Ls6 springs fine to run with the abbott NA cam? I know I can use either 105# or LS6's...just not sure if there is more then one kind of LS6 spring?
The blue LS6's are OK and there are a couple people that run them, especially after the #105's breaking-scare (which has been taken care of since, but if you go for 105's make sure you get new stock). They have comparable numbers to comp 105's but there aren't too many of them around unless you order part specific from dealer.
I wouldn't go with the yellow ones, they have really high seat pressure and sounds like they're more trouble then they're worth (especially if using the stock single chain/dampener setup).
I believe those springs are the yellow ones and from what Ive heard they eat the damper the springs you want have a 250 seat pressure instead of these with 295 and they came on only the 201 z06 easiest place I found them at was gmpartsdirect and they were at a fairly good price.

thank you...damn...does anyone have a link to that air compressor fitting to hold the valves up? and also to a tool that will work to take our fuel lines off?

Fuel lines tool you can get at Autozone for like $5. Just make sure to get one big enough for both lines.

Try habor freight for air pressure fitting , also I would try and get a one that is on a flex line , it was a pain on a couple of cyl. trying to get the air fitting in. I think on mine we just got it in a little ways and just kept on pressuring the Cyl., we could hear it leaking out. The fuel line connectors they have in the plastic packs, at AutoZone or Checker I use the gray one, I think in the plaastic packs.

crap....I dont know of an auto zone, habor freight, or checker on this side of the border :( lol....I know I saw a flex line for that compressor fitting somewhere...for the life of me I cant find it now...
Oh...and where should I get the coolant elbows? dealership?
and would this fuel line thing work? (I know if I go to Napa, or partsource I'll end up buying the wrong damn thing...)

It says supercharged gp's...not sure if there fuel lines differ from us though....
That was the exact fuel line tool that we tried to use on mine. It fit perfectly for my buddy's 97 GTP, but we could barely pull off one line on my 99 Camaro. It wouldn't fit on the second line.
The coolant elbows can be had from the dealership for about $12. Autozone also has them in the HELP! section for $5, but that's not really any help to you.

well maybe I will give partsource a shot then...What exactly did the fuel line tool look like that you used to take off you lines?
I know you got it from autozone...but im trying to get an idea so that I dont buy the wrong one from the parts store here...
Mine came in a package of plastic fuel line removal tools, I used the grey one I beleive, because it is the only one missing out of my pack.LOL

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
