If I cam my camaro, and decide i want a supercharger or turbo later (which i most likely will, but im not sure when) do I have to get a certain type of cam that will work with f/I? does it matter?

              Re: can question

you'll be fine; car won't run as great as it would N/A, but it won't be bad.

I am in the same boat you are, I have always wanted a s/c in my car so I just got done putting a xp cam in my camaro and after getting the injectors tuned alittle it runs fine. Even without the S/C and a real tune I can feel a huge amount of power increase.

                  Re: can question

I did a VS cam and ran a powerdyne with 8-10 lbs (288hp/330 tq) . Got rid of the powerdyne and ran it N/A for awhile and it still pulls great from 3000 rpms and up. Also still running 36lb injectors. I then went with nitrous and the VS cam likes it alot feels like it pulls twice as hard with a 125 wet shot. Also with the VS cam I went with 9.5:1 Diamond forged pistons ,l32 rods,clev77 bearings etc. This was 7 years ago and motor is still holding up fine, my goal is to spray a 150 wet or more and have it stay together without puddling. I think most FI cams for superchargers will respond to nitrous quite well, so if you have a XP cam , I bet some nitrous would make it move.

The procharger would be bad @ss, I wouldn't waste the time with the M90, go for the Procharger , you will get more PSI out of it and you can intercool it.

O ya procharger first but if something doesn't happen and the m-90 is out there i'm jumping on that. I have always wanted a procharger even if its the p1sc.
