I doubt they will be a problem...they are not milled down but rather built that way to insure perfect clearance is what it said.... I'll fire an email over to them now though...will be a real piss off if they dont work...
I had rotten luck with one of those tools; it would get the stockers off fine, but the fork would start to bend as I tried to compress the new springs. I went for a lever style one from NAPA for $8. It works wonders on the front springs, then I cut it in half with a saw, and had a friend push it with a 2x4. Made quick work of the task.
I would call or e mail Intense and ask them if they will work with stock heads and the stock OD valve guide. I would ask at what valve lift you need the milled retainers as well. Most viton seals are for .500 or .530 OD valve guides. Most stock OD valve guides are larger than that.
Intense said I am good to go because the valve seals are meant for stock valves... sweeeeet
