^^ebay, very nice. Driver side you need to grind the k-member a little.

                      Re: Guess that sound !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The swap looks great! I've been planning a swap for awhile now and have a few questions about removal. Did you use some sort of dolly underneath the k-member/drivetrain assembly to slide the drivetrain out? Did you slide it out towards the drivers side wheel well, like how its shown sitting next to the car? Any other tips on removal/install proceedures?

                      Thanks,
                      John

I'd like to know the same too. So for sure a ramps (check) and cherry picker to lift the front end...

Maybe I missed it but how long did this take you from removal of engine to being able to drive it (regardless of further tuning like you said)?

Also how much have you spent so far roughly and how hard would you rate this swap depending on ones mechanically ability? Definitely going to have to keep in touch with you lol.

For me I want to put a Ls1/t56 coming from a 3.4/t5 and I don't have a lift but may have access but if I couldn't cherry pickers aren't that expensive right? Thats why I asked the above question on if he used a dolly too/etc.

i had a lift, so this is what i did.

then went in with a hoist and took the engine and tranny leaving the k-member so that it would line up when i put the engine back on. but if you dont have alift, then leave the front wheels on and get the engine high enough and roll it out with the hoist and wheels.

                                Nice...I envy you lol.

How hard was it and did you get the drivetrain from a parts car or buy just the drivetrain and tracked down the rest of the parts?

Is there anything I can slowly buy and swap over now like the fuel system (tank/etc), suspension, etc till I am ready for the ls1/t56 or will I have to wait till then?

What would you say a fair price is for everything I need as I don't really know the market value of this stuff...
