Well I haven't had much time to work on the car with school and all, but I started spring break yesterday so I decided to get 'er done. I ran into a little problem though. After struggling to get the transmission crossmember and mount bolted up, I realized that the new (older model) tranny has a 4 bolt tail section while the old (98) tranny has a 6 bolt tail section. I'm not sure if I was just having a hard time with the crossmember because I was frustrated or what, but I ended up calling it a day before I broke something haha.
So, does the number of bolts holding the tail section on have anything to do with how the transmission crossmember lines up? Or should it work out alright either way?
