LS swap would most likely be more expesive than selling your car and buying a formula or trans am. I would say te cheapest route would be the turbo. You dont have to rebuild unless you have high milage. You could turbo it w/ about 5 lbs of boost. Then get a cam, springs, retainers. Then build later. People usually work in these steps due to finances. Good luck with what ever you do.
