I thought this was pretty cool, so I felt the need to share. Last night I hooked up a smoke machine to my brake booster hose after capping off the end of my air intake hose and my valve cover breather. Then proceeded to pump smoke into the engine with it turned off in order to check for a vacuum leak. I had a leak on the egr valvebody, one on the passenger side valve cover, and even a pinhole in the air intake tube going from the supercharger to the throttlebody.

I tightened the egr fixing it, but Im going to have to regasket the valve cover and weld the intake tube. Turned out to be a pretty useful piece of equipment.

smoke machines are great for finding leaks, did it on my rebuilt engine and found quite a bit of leaks. :)
