You prolly either live in a dorm room or with your mom and dad or some low rent place. So that means most if not all of your money that you get from your "part-time" job goes towards putting bolt-ons and internals onto your car.

I am married, with a kid, nearly 30 years old (yeah I know I'm not that old or the oldest on this board), I have a 2000 sq ft house, and work full time. My wife doesn't work, my daughter is 2 years old so I don't think I can put her to work yet (or can I? :)) so all my income goes to feeding them two and myself, keeping a roof over their heads with A/C (need electric for A/C) and cold/hot water (hot takes gas or electric) and displaying the best entertainment visual fantasy land for them (the big azz tv, cable dvr, phone & internet).

All I'm saying is all my money goes to my providing for my family before any of it goes into my car. It's harder providing for 3. Not so hard when you provide only for yourself.

btw make close to 50k a year...so you would think I wouldn't be hurting so much...maybe it's poor money management skills on my part...let you know when I put my "cam" in..prolly years away...

Yes and No. I am 20yrs old and living with my parents. But, I also bring home whopping $230 paychecks every other week, and manage to pay my car payment ($187/month), credit card ($200/month), and then my tips barely cover my gas. How much does that leave me? :P Last yr I made $7K :D .

My advice- put the wife and daughter to work!

Idk what you're on but nitrous loves compression....and you can still boost an 11.3 compression motor...sure it won't hold more than 7psi, but that's still a hell of a car.

Damm I know someone said GM made some proto type Alm heads for the 3.8 , that would of been cool, only thing about Alm. heads is once they over heat to a point they are gone an need replacement. Cast iron takes alot more abuse.
I was wrong. It was a 262 ci.

I posted this in the lounge about several years ago.

It was being sold in ebay. Just the engine itself. It does run in race fuel.

If you're going to go force induction then Cast iron is the way to go. Aluminum will never as strong as Cast iron.
