other 3.8 engines

had question what other gm engine can i use instead of getting the same stock engine. i read somewhere that i can use a series 3 non supercharged , i read that you just change the intake manifold, but i was wondering do i have to get the pcm of that car and wiring harnes or everythign is the same from the camaro. can i get a list of gm cars that i can use that engine without going all out. i know Meatyshells did the buick swap but dont know what cars carry the same basic engine

Just FYI, I am going to do a writeup of how to do the series III swap. I jsut received the motor today and will be working on it

As for wiring, I'm going to use the stock wiring from my firebird, seeign as this motor didn't come with any

got fof an 06 grand prix gt. The motor is in pretty good shape but the company didn't ship it well. Had a few broken pieces so far that I noticed. With it being a gt, it is the NA. You need to get an NA motor b/c the heads are different on the sc motor
