    Re: installing fuel injectors

theres no write up...the injectors just pull out of the rails...make sure you get the O-rings out to, they sometimes like to get stuck in the rail...make sure your new injectors have both o-rings on each end...put them back in...I think I put some oil on the rings before I reinstalled them...can't quite remember though...

someone correct me if i am wrong but 4 bolts on the fuel rail unbolt those and pry up then it will pop the injectors out and you have to remove the map sensor off the intake manifold to pull the fuel rail out of the car it will not clear with it on.. injector o rings are a must and they arre 17$ from the dealer.

vr4gasm has it down. 2 bolts on fuel rail on either side of the manifold. Remove map. Pry up. Pull the rail out a bit. Then pop old injectors out, pop new ones in. Add a little vaseline to the o-rings to help them go in.

The only other thing to add is remove the coil packs and the alternator to make more room for yourself if you haven't already done so. :D

aight yeah i pulled the coils and icm did not have to get rid of map sensor just popped the fuel rail off enough to get to the injectors. however three of my injectors are missing the piece to hold the oring in place arrrrg. oreilleys nor autozone had it so i have to check a few places today.

When I did mine I had to buy some more, I think checker or Autozone had them for like $2 a piece. This is when I had a Stock K member, now with a TUB. K and Arms everything falls through.LOL
