    im slightly confused..

i have no problems pulling apart my car for this upgrade..

but if i install a new cam..what else SHOULD i change with it..

I understand that i need to tune it and what not afterwords..but

Ive read the other posts on here..

i just wanted to know if there was a step by step way to do this and the exact pieces i need for it..

    Re: cam question..

depends on the size of the cam in question and the milage/condition of the motor

when I did my swap I changed: springs, retainers, valve seals, lifters, timing chain, all the manifold gaskets, pushrods, injectors...I think thats it...

it is usually pretty mandatory to at minimum change your springs, retainers, valve seals, timing chain, and gaskets....depends on the mods of the car and future plans, as well as the size of the cam, but you will probably want bigger injectors as any decent size cam will make your stock ones struggle...

you can search for my thread on here...I should have a list of all the things I did, as well as links to all the items from the various places I bought them from...I did that to make sure that I was getting the right parts...also, those were the cheapest of the parts I could find...
