Black Stripes?

Hey guys ive been debating about purchasing a set of black stripes to put on my red camaro, anybody have a red camaro with black stripes? anyone have any input as to how my car would look with them on?

i like the regular straight stripes, not the checkered one, or the weird angled one. also stop it at the bumper like how meatyshells has his.

if i had the regular stock hood id go with black stripes on mine as well, my car is blue though.

If it were my car, I'd also paint the mirrors red to match the rest of the body.

I agree about the mirrors! The car looks great as it is ....sometimes less is more.
Leave it alone, after U paint the mirrors

diggin on the black wheels with the polished lip-nice! whatcha runnin there? 17's? have to agree on the mirrors, the black breaks the visiual line to much, needs to flow-but it is a beautiful car ya got there! ...don't know bout stripes, maybe old school ss style like the 1st gen camaros or 2nd gen chevelles? that might look cool? -but dude...a yellow christmas tree air freshner?!? ...i dig your sense of humor, thats funny!

ya man, my brother had a 97 30th anniversary that was red with white stripes, re-painted it got rid of the white and did black stripes, looked badass. ill see if i can find a pic of it for you.

well they have a name and a paint code if its factory. I know my car was repainted with GM torch red and it has to much of an orange in the sunlight, so I was hoping to find a good color to get the car redone and cleared with.

you know ive thought about painting them, but i just bought new mirrors for my car as my old ones were painted black by the previous owner and all scratched up and chipped

thanks bro, the rims are 17in American Racing Rebels with Firestone Firehawk 275 tires, sorry that you cant see the rims in detail in that pic, ill try and find another pic. I agree with keeping it simple, i might try and photoshop it with the stripes. the color red tho is one of the main reasons i bought this camaro, it just literally amazed me when i first saw it. And with the yellow christmas tree air freshner....hahahahah hell yes

hey dude, the color is Bright Rally Red #81 for a 2001 Camaro, i love it tho the police love it too ;)

red mirrors, no stripes, but i'd do a hockey strip on that car since you have the black rims
