hmm weird because i called the dealership and they had different prices for the bumper and they asked if i had a z28 or ss or a v6

same as with autozone or advance auto parts. same part will work in multiple applications, but each one carries a different price based on the vehicle or year of the vehicle

so basically if i had an SS and needed a bumper i should say i have a v6 so i can get the same bumper for a cheaper rate

i agree with savage, i needed a back bumper when i slid into another car in a snowstorm a few years ago, there isnt like a separate "ss/z28" bumper from a "v6" bumper, exactly the same bumper, they shouldn't charge more if its labeled as an "ss z28" bumper

Yeah even those cars are pretty much the exact same as the hardtop cars.

4th gens have the same body panels from the doors back on all of the 93-02. The nose is the only thing that changed in the 98+. Convertable im not sure on since ive never owned 1 nor have any intrest in
