I always wondered how the F-bodies handled in snow, is it just like rain or worse?

My firebird handles snow a little better than my pick-up, especially with some weight in the cubby behind the rear axle. Much as I hate the auto in it, the 2nd gear start is helpful with my lead foot. I also use all season tires because Oregon is an awful state no one should have to live in. That said, I have spun the bird once when I got overconfident on a snowy country road, and had to endure glares from the SUV behind me when I ended up pointing the other way >_>

Well. I did fine in mine until I got my new wheels with firehawk tires... I've never had tires slip just letting the clutch out.

My car handles snow fine until about 5". Then it just turns into a snow plow. It gets a bit tail happy depending on how much gas I give it, but I'm never been stuck in it. With the Blizzaks on I get around better than most of the trucks and suvs around here.

Mine is ok but it only sees snow if I'm home on break and it happens to be snowing. I've got hankook ventus summer tires on it. They are pretty squirrely on my cobblestone hill but other than that I'm comfortable behind the wheel. I did drive my camaro all year round in high-school though.

Where'd you come to this conclusion? I was born and raised in OR and have been to some 35 other states and would not want to live anywhere else. I used all seasons in Salem for 6ish years with no issues and got my first set of blizzaks when I moved to k falls which were great (granted on a different vehicle). Just bought a second set of blizzaks for my new car.
