Why does it suck ? Cause its not loud ? Cause mines really loud with or without the top down. And im making a custom fiber glass box soon with two 6x9s in it between the rear seats it will be pretty cool
It sucks because you can't hear the lows from the rear when the top is down!You can feel it...but the quality of sound isn't there. I wanted to make a custom box in place of one or both seats in the back. Wondering if anyone had done that.I haven't seen any system in our cars with that setup. I know some peole have mounted under the seats but I wanted to know how a custom box(s) would be in place of rear seat(s)???

i think the monster ss camaro convertible made one.
Several people have done that here. Kristen is one of them. It's not in a convertible, but the floor pan is the same. IIRC she made it out of particle board and auto carpet.

Yeah I saw her set up...I actually own Kristens stuff.She sold them to me.I meant removing the bucket seat from the floor and leaving the backrest. Make a custom box in it's place. I've seen a rear seat delete set up. Not just for a sub (s) though

Just ordered some Toyo 315/35/17 tires for my 17x11 rims. Hopefully I can get them on the beginning of next year. Will post pics.
