  • filling in the bumper

    my new project. puddying the front bumper and repainting it. now i know that bondo doesnt last long on the bumper but i figured i'll give it a chance. it looks alot better then the holes.

    looks good it will prob. bust out but it looks good for now

      exactly what i was going for. if it busts i'll just have to fix it. or find a different product to fill it.

        maybe try drilling small holes around the area your filling or create a back on the hole somehow for added strength or even fiberglass mat

            Bonda actually has a bumper repair product. It's basically an epoxy that dries with similar properties to the bumper.

              resin over the bondo maybe?

              i want to do this to my car when i take the bumper off to mount my intercooler

                If you have a intercooler you might want to cut that section out so you get air flow to the intercooler, then just add a grill to the front, thats what I did and is working well. When they filled in my rear Camaro section in back , they took it off and drilled holes in the letters the fiberglassed it in for added streght and so it doesn't crack from vibration like VR4gasm said. then just sanded it, primed it , sealed it, painted, and clear coated it.
