Best way to clean inside of windshield?

As I'm sure your are all aware, the windshield is a difficult part of our cars to clean on the inside. Getting in down by the dash is rough, and wiping the whole thing clean and dry by hand is hard to do without leaving a streak.

I use a 6" wide squeegee to do the windshield as good as I can, then go over it again by hand to try to get the corners and edges. Still a contortionists nightmare getting into some spots.

So just wondering if you guys found a tool that lets you reach low and clean the windshield well without having double jointed elbows and shoulders.

I just bought a gizzmo that they sell on TV. It has a long handle with a rectangle pad on it for reaching into those tight corners. Works great!

windshield wonder i started a thread on it you can get them for 10$ cvs walmart ect.. as seen on tv section

The Windshield Wonder didn't work too well for me. I've tried it with water, glass cleaner, dry, etc. and it still left streaks.

I'm sticking with my old method; A piece of newspaper and Stoner's Glass Cleaner. I know it's a pain to reach certain sections of the glass, but I did it.

worked great for me cleaner and the windshield wonder.. gotta make sure the cloth is fresh and clean though

plain old windex works for me BUT make sure whatever you do, If you have tinted windows.....do not clean your windows with anything that has ammonia in it!

yeah windshield wonder is the way to go, mine still left some streaks but it was much much cleaner.

You can only see the small streaks under heavy light.

stoner also makes makes a wand with a triangular head that i use... works awesome! i also use the stoner glass cleaner which is tint safe and they also have some cleaner that leaves a water repellant on the windshield... check out stoner's products.

I just bought a windshield wonder as I saw it in the store today. Seems like it's going to be really handy for the Camaro's windshield. I'll probably use it with my invisible glass as I really like that stuff.
