Does anyone know if there is a replacement floor pan for our cars that you can buy? My passenger side floor pan has 3 rusted out holes in it that I need to fix...

Sure its not from all the power your making and its ripping apart with the 13 sec. slip. J/K, they make sheets of steel you can buy on ebay and the just cut out the sections and have it welded in, I have bought some before for different projects.

How big of a spot from rust spot to rust spot, becuase on ebay I got 1ftX1ft metal sheets and they also make them bigger then that. instead of cutting out the whole floor board. Just a thought. Just keep a soft right pedal, pretty soon your windsheild will come off. LOL

haha...maybe I shouldnt do the ITb's...the whole chassies might twist loose....i got an aluminum sheet for 5$...im actually hoping to head to my buddies a little later and have him look at the floor and tell me if he can weld up a sheet or not...he should be able to...I'll just take a sawzall and cut away the L shaped floor board piece...they are all relatively close to each other...picture that L shap on the passenger side...beside and behind the big hump....

You can't weld alm. to steel , I hope you know that. Alm. will melt before the steel starts to heat up. You need a steel plate. Look on ebay their pretty cheap.

I know, Im gunna ditch the alm and go back to that shop and get a steel plate....I Have a disc grinder I borrowed that I am going to use to cut out the pan on saturday...only problem is, is where I need to cut, one of the frame bars is...dunno whats going to happen to that bar...its the bar that droups down at the front of the car, almost right beside that piece that says "do not jack" ...kinda in the area in between where the door and fender meets, if you know which piece I am talking about lol...

I know where your talking about the place where they use the lift spots at. Just use a dremel in that area so you don't cut it up. I have had grinders get away from me before costing me cutting through a good muffler.LOL Plus the sparks that come off the grinder are crazy.

                    Re: replacement floor pan

ok...so we tried both TIG welding and MIG welding metal pieces to the floor pan...not working...we're burning through the floor before we are getting the weld...we dont have access to a welder for awhile now...so we are thinking of fibreglassing the floor where we cut the rust spots out...anyone see any issues with this?

I think this is the guy I went through last time , he has all different sizes if you go on to his online store for metal plating, even alm. plating.
