gloss black top

so im starting to get some minor clear coat bubbles on the roof and i had a thought what about paint the top gloss black and the mirrors..... what do you guys think?

I did it to mine and I like it a lot. I did it myself with spray paint, so of course if you get it prayed professionally it will be even better.

Even my spray paint job looks better then all of tha peeling paint did.

I did the roof, mirrors, and the vents in the Firebird hood.

Brings tons of compliments on the car...

Summer is always better for paint it dries quicker and less flaws in the paint.

my roof is black and my side pillars as well, I got blue mirrors though.

gives the impression you got ttops lol

i say go for it man, i plan on painting my pillar gloss black soon too. looks really good with ttops and tinted windows :tup:

I have black mirrors in perfect condition I will trade for maroon colored mirrors. I want body colored mirrors and paint black on my roof where there would be t tops. I think that look is very clean.

If nothing else, it'd be easier to paint it black then trying to match the maroon color... especially if you do it yourself...
