  • Firebird W68 - Black Ground Effects on Silver?

I am thinking of painting my ground effects black. I would like to have black on Silver but I need opinions as to how you think it would look on a W68 car...

Maybe I should only paint the rear panel around the exhaust black? I kinda wanna paint the front ones black too (they badly need repainting anyway...)

I think the Formulas have the black strip above the exhaust tips and I like that. However I don't think it would look good black all around.

hell no..not to mention it would look like it was riding higher by about 4 inches. the ceta looks good though.

      example:

my allante has sideskirts and bumpers that match the body color (they were black from the factory)
(i dont have any good pictures of it to show what i mean so ill use this one)

this allante looks much higher off the ground because of the different color sideskirts and bumper

but thats just my two cents

Paint them body color. I can't find it, but there used to be a thread with a white Firebird that added black W68 gfx and it looked terrible. Could barely see the actual pieces and made the car look unfinished.

Here's an old chop on a Camaro, compliments of RadRacer:

I think it goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway. Negative.
